Anna Kecskes grew up in Helena, and graduated from Capital High School. She attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, graduating with degrees in History and French. Anna made the choice to become a "double Zag," attending Gonzaga University School of Law for her J.D. She graduated summa cum laude and received the Pro Bono Award for her service hours logged while a student.
After graduating and passing the bar in Montana, Anna clerked for Justice Jim Rice on the Montana Supreme Court, and then litigated for almost two years in criminal and civil defense as a public defender. She joined the Uda Law Firm in 2018, and is currently a junior partner at the firm. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the State Bar of Montana, and is an officer for the Public Utilities Law Section.
In her free time, Anna enjoys running/hiking and attempting to keep up with her border collie named Pup.
